I watched MIND MASTER last night. It's the mind reading, mind controlling, mind manipulation, mind whatever show on GMA 7. There were a lot of KAPUSO stars who joined the show. The mind master Mr. Nomer Lasal (i think that's his name) did some freaky "fortune telling" in creative ways. Like he asked a guest to thik of a question then he asked him to sign his name on a piece of paper. Then he folded this inside a kerchief (together with a ballpen). When he opened the kerchief after e few seconds, an answer was already written. He did all those crazy things. It blew my mind away. Grabe! He really was a mind master.

Roller Coaster
Roller coaster...
The carnival ride i hate the most....
The theme park attraction i am most afraid of...
Unfortunately, the roller coaster is not only found in a carnival or a theme park...
It is present in almost every aspect of our lives...
Finances for example - sometime you have, sometimes you don't...
Friends - sometimes they're there, sometime they're not (physically, that is)...
Love life - sometimes you're happy, sometimes you're not...
- sometimes you feel loved, sometime you feel not...
- sometimes you feel appreciated, sometimes you feel neglected...
You can never really have everything that you want...
You can never be always on top...
But you cannot do anything but accept that in life, you can never always be in control...

The Man Who Can't Be Moved by The Script - Will I be able to call myself that way?
The first time I heard the song "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" by The Script I immediately liked it. I liked it because I like the Way it was sang and I like the melody. However, I didn't understand right away what the song meant. Then a friend of mine sang it in one of our activities. When he was practicing I asked to see the lyrics. That was the first time I understood what it meant. From then on I said I like it very much. I could feel the love in that man's heart. I could feel the unending hope he has that one day he is going to see his love again.

Read the chorus a few times. Do you think the guy is hoping that the love of his life will come back one day to embrace him and love him again? I don't think so. I think he was just hoping that there will come a time that the girl will miss him and look for him. He sounded like he was just hoping that she'll come back so he will see her again. Then maybe he'll try to work things out from there. I think they had a falling out somewhere and they didn't get real 'closure'. Maybe he did something that the girl didn't like. He was not given time to explain so he was hoping that he'll have a second chance. I don't know.
Anyway, I was thinking should that thing happen to me will I be able to say "I am a man who can't be moved"? Such love that man has. I am not sure if I am capable of loving someone the same way. Maybe. Maybe not. Who's to say? Just read the lyrics of The Man Who Can't Be Moved and enjoy.

Cheating in the 2004 and 2007 elections, Sen. Miguel Zubiri and Atty. Koko Pimentel,
The past few weeks, we have been reading about cheating in the 2004 and 2007 elections. Many names have been mentioned. Many people gave their opinions. It even prompted Sen. Miguel Zubiri to drop the title of Senator. He just chose to remain Mr. Zubiri for the time being.
His resignation actually even spawned more talks. Again, many people expressed their own views about it. Some praised him for what he did. Others said his resignation was rather late. Others condemned him for still saying that he did not cheat. The candidate who would probably take the seat he has vacated also aired his side. Atty. Koko Pimentel expressed his disappointment (or was it anger?) regarding Mr. Zubiri's speech. Even his wife voiced out her thoughts about the whole issue.
